1. Who We Are

Masar Albinna Alfani (MAA) is an engineering consultancy based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, providing BIM, structural engineering, survey and testing services. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MAA. We are responsible for the personal data we collect through this website and in the course of our work.

2. Information We Collect

  • Details you give us: your name, company, job title, email, phone number and the content of your message when you use our contact form, email or call us.
  • Business information: details shared during enquiries, quotations, contracts and project delivery.
  • Technical data: basic information your browser sends when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to enquiries and prepare proposals and quotations.
  • To deliver, manage and invoice our services.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, tax and contractual obligations.
  • To keep our website secure and working properly.

We only send marketing messages if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Project Information, Confidentiality and NDAs

Our clients trust us with drawings, BIM models, point clouds, survey data, reports and commercial information. We treat all of it as confidential.

  • NDAs: we are happy to sign your non-disclosure agreement, or provide our own, before any project information is shared.
  • Purpose limitation: project information is used only to deliver the agreed scope, never for any other client or purpose.
  • Need-to-know access: only team members working on your project can access its files, and all staff and subcontractors are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Project references: we only name a project or client in our marketing where that information is already public or you have given permission.
  • Return or deletion: at the end of a project, or on request, we return or securely delete project files, keeping only what we must retain by contract or law.

5. Drone, Survey and Site Data

Our drone and survey work captures images, LiDAR point clouds and site data. We plan flights to focus on the project site, follow applicable aviation and privacy rules, and avoid recording identifiable people wherever possible. Survey data belongs to the project and is handled under the same confidentiality terms as all other project information.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We share personal data only when needed, and only with:

  • Subcontractors and partners working on your project, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Service providers that support our business, such as hosting, email and IT providers.
  • Authorities, where required by Saudi law or a valid legal request.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.

7. Cookies and Third-Party Services

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It uses essential cookies needed for the site to work. Some embedded services, such as Google Maps on our contact page and web fonts, are provided by third parties that may collect technical data such as your IP address under their own privacy policies.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or for the period required by contract, accounting or Saudi law. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it securely.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data and project information, including access controls, secure storage and confidentiality obligations for everyone who handles your data.

10. International Transfers

Some of our service providers, such as hosting and email providers, may store data outside Saudi Arabia. Where personal data is transferred outside the Kingdom, we do so in line with the Personal Data Protection Law and its regulations.

11. Your Rights

Under Saudi Arabia’s Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how your personal data is collected and used.
  • Access your personal data and obtain a copy.
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Ask us to delete data that is no longer needed.
  • Withdraw your consent, where we rely on it.
